My First Cardmaking Video!!!!

Despite being very much the way forward, I've never entertained the idea of making an instructional video because I'm a complete and utter technophobe!  I'm possibly the only person in the world who uses her mobile phone solely to make calls, that's how bad I am ;) tee hee  However, after watching this video that my sister illustrated and produced for my brother, I decided it was time to take advantage of yet another one of her talents lol

I put my hand up and admit it's not great!  The lighting is bad, the camera needs to be zoomed in and the shadow in the top right hand corner is very distracting, but for a first attempt that only took up half an hour of my time (and another half hour of Jenny's), I'm satisfied with the result...

YouTube / Instrumental copyright Stevie Hoang (my brother!)

Just in case you're not interested in watching a poorly made video (lol), here's the card I made...

Supplies: Stamps - Clearly Besotted 'Halloween Spirit' & 'All Occasion Sentiments' / Tools - Clearly Besotted 'Mini Bunting Die Collection'; Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Standard Circles' / Pattern Paper Echo Park 6x6 Pad 'Dots & Stripes Winter' / Ink - Memento 'Tuxedo Black' / Other - Hemptique Twine Cord Black

I hope you're having a lovely Sunday (my husband and daughter are currently making lasagna for our lunch - yum!) and thank you very much for stopping by :) xx

EDIT: Great advice Jenny Colacicco!  I have just added a link to my YouTube account - thank you!

You're video is GREAT! We are always FAR more critical on ourselves than we would ever be on anyone else! I never would have given the shadow a second thought if you hadn't mentioned it LOL! TFS and please keep making videos and next time....try not to be so hard on yourself. :D

It was incredible and certainly doesn't seem like a first!! You are not as limited as you think, Stephanie ... I don't even have a phone that will make a video - yet! Darling card!

Great video Stephanie :) You did a brilliant job. I think there's a lot of pressure to go the video route i really haven't got the techy skills to even think about it.

I'm the same when it comes to phones, but you need not worry about the video. It was fab and I didn't even notice the shadow at all. Keep them coming.

Brilliant tutorial video! No muss or fuss, just a well-timed visual instructions that are easy to follow yet not too hasty or stressful. I like that the video is a reflection of what I associate with Clearly besotted too: Clean and simple yet elegant and creative..as cardmaking should be (in my preference). Thank you kindly for making this video and I agree with other commentators here, we'd love to see more :)
