I Made A Video!!!!

I want to dispel any myths that I have a fancy craft room and a treasure trove of crafting supplies because I don't!  In fact, I don't even have a craft room and do most of my creating in the kitchen at the breakfast table with very limited supplies lol

It's not a very long video and I made it primarily for practice but I hope you enjoy it any way....

Must dash, I have the March release to prepare for....which is probably why I'm faffing around making unnecessary videos - I'm such a procrastinator lol

Have a lovely day :) xxx

You are so brave and I'm amazed at how little your craft supplies are. Just goes to prove you can make truly AMAZING cards with very little stash. Think I needed a clear out!!!!😁

Wow, your kids must be really well behaved not to touch your stuff. I CAN'T imagine leaving my things on the table or anywhere my boy could reach, he (2 years old) would probably stamp some fancy things on his little sister's face (2 months old).

You are too cute!!! Love that you are able to create such awesome things with minimal supplies. Actually it is probably a good thing. Sometimes too much stuff is overwhelming!

♥Gemma♥ said...

It may be basic but its beautiful and clean...not like mine!! Lol

I think we all get wrapped up in having this, that & other and spend an absolute arm and leg on goodies that we think we need but actually don't because i can guarantee they will be sat on our craftroom for months never been used or hardly used!!

What we really should be doing is taking a leaf out of your book and stick to basic's because you have just proved that we can all still make the most stunning cards with just the basic tools and other stash of goodies..

I am now going to go through my stuff and get rid of all the things that are just sat about not getting used etc

Thanks for sharing Steph and opening my eye's!!
hugs and xxx

OMG! Stephanie! What have you done!? You must DESTROY this video evidence STRAIGHT AWAY. My husband has been told I require a whole room to house my ESSENTIAL stash. He must NOT see that you manage to produce such magnificence with MINIMAL SUPPLIES. Aaaaarghhhhh!!!!

It just goes to show Steph that you don't need hoards of crafty stash to produce fabulous cards...thank you for giving us a tour of your little crafting space

Thanks for sharing your crafty area with us Stephanie. Your first foray into the world of video making was brilliant, can't wait for more. Perhaps one how to use your dies with the stamps I struggle so much to get them lined up and I am sure there is a simple knack somewhere I have yet to discover! Susan xx

Fantastic video Steph. It has proven I really don't need all the 'stuff' in my room. I cleared out loads last week to put on ebay, I think that little view of your world has just convinced me to me a little more ruthless ..... Do I really need 100 reels of ribbon???

I look forward to seeing more of you :0)

Marion said...

Oh Stephanie what happened to all your supplies??? Am sure you had a fab collection of ribbon at one time. I know I could never be so restrained and your stamps and dies are forever finding a new home in my crafting space so there is no hope for me!!!!

Neets B said...

Fab video, Stephanie. When you said your stash was small I didn't realise quite how small! I condensed some of my stash at the weekend, some was binned, some was given to mum and some went on eBay. I need to be more ruthless to create a little capsule like you. Getting there, slowly :D xx

You're going to cause a riot!!! Still don't know how you keep everything so tidy - you're an enigma to me!!!!!

I can only dream of so little space being required for my crafty stash! Thanks for sharing, Rebecca x

Amazing! Loved the video and seeing your incredibly tidy workspace. Less is definitely more for you!

I really enjoyed seeing your very minimalist craft space.

Amazing how Little you have to get crafty....I guess I could learn a thing or two from that.

Vivienne Holden said...

*Sigh*. I'm with Gemma. What on EARTH am I doing with a whole room full of stuff (and making a mess to boot), when you've proved you can make fabulous works of art with just half a kitchen table of stuff!
Hmmmpphhh. LOL xxx

Handcrafted With Love said...

Hmmmmm oh dear my craft room is so overdue for a clean up and tidy up but I don't think I could have the heart to get rid of such a lot of things and definitely not any of your beautiful stamps and dies but I REALLY DO THINK IT'S TIME TO GET RUTHLESS AND GET IT SORTED!
Thank you soooo much for the wake up call Stephanie.

Love Pam xx

So good to see you on video, you did really well and I love your accent :) can't wait for more.

Your craft supplies put me to shame. I have a whole room with sooooo much stuff that I just HAVE to have and yet don't use. You manage to create so many beautiful cards with such few 'things'. Good for you.

I really enjoyed your video Stephanie - hope that you will be doing more soon. Going to have to do some clearing out when I get home from Canada.
Very cold here by the way!! x

Wow Stephanie, I knew you were a very neat and tidy person but this is amazing. Love all the order and I'm sure you don't put something down, turn round to get something and then find it's disappeared!!! lol Really nice to see you "in the flesh".

Yes, I am shocked that you work in such a small space, but not surprised that it's neat and tidy! Now, I'm really in awe as to how you turn out such GORGEOUS cards!!!

Thanks so much for sharing your 'Studio' with us!

Hi!
Very nice video! It makes me smile 'cause I'm on the reduction stage, I mean - I'm reselling goodies I collected since long time. Well, it's no chance to use it all so at last I want tidy place. Wish me luck ;)

Katie Berberich said...

Awwww that was so cute! What a professional you are Stephanie :) Love your little craft area. I am most happy when I'm creating at the dinner table. If this table could talk....ha ha!
Good luck with the new release samples and don't get tangled in all that gorgeous twine!

Great video Stephanie , and it just goes to show what great things can be achieved in a small space with minalamist tools. However I don't seem to be able to achieve this! Note to self........... Do NOT allow husband to see this video !!!!! Thanks for sharing.

It's more than I have and all you need is there...:-)
I don't have a craftroom either, I sit at the table in the living room to do my crafting, one half is taken by me and the other is for my doughter, who is a kindergarten teacher.

Judith said...

Very neat and organised.
But, tell me, how can I not want to expand if you release such great stamps and dies every month?!?! LOL

Nice to hear your voice, Stephanie!
Thank you for sharing.

Tracey said...

Fabulous video Steph!! Love your organized little space!! You have just what you need!! xx

Vicki Dutcher said...

It just goes to show the rest of us how we DO NOT need it all! You can create beauty with a few basic items! I have to say, not as fun -- but you've shown us it can be! :)

KT Fit Kitty said...

You are awesome - and so organized! Thank you for sharing your space. Wish I could have seen this before I accumulated all of my "must haves". I have WAY TOO MUCH stuff!

Victoria H. said...

Thank you for a wonderful video! I think you just made me realize fully what I've been suspecting for a little bit now...I have way more stuff than I truly need.

Maureen said...

your video is fabulous, Stephanie and you are such a cutie IRL! You put me to shame and I so want to purge my "room" now! ox

Cornelie said...

It was nice to see You!! To hear your voice and to see your work place. It inspires me, really. But if I can...I really don't think so ;-)

Petti said...

I feel ashamed having a room full of supplies but can't create half as nice as you.
Nice video and I have to say you look so pretty on camera too. :)

Great first video. Thanks for sharing your crafty space. You just proved I have a craft room because I want, not because I need it! I better not show hubby.

Queenie Jeannie said...

LOVED the video!!! It was so great to hear your voice! :D I still can't believe you create such wonderful cards with so little "stuff". I think you would die if you saw my room, lol!

Lindsey said...

Loved hearing your voice and seeing what you use...I've always wondered. This is exactly what I needed to get in and clear out my stash. I don't have a craft room, but I do have a craft closet that is now needed for other things, so your video is so timely as I've started the purging process.

loulou said...

OMG! I can't believe your creative space is so small. I couldn't work in a space this small I have far too much stuff. Well truth be known I'm just far too untidy.

Mary-Anne V said...

Wow watching your video was actually inspiring..I need to down size. your work is amazing and yet you keep the clutter and supplies to a minimum! Thank you for the video.

Jeanne J said...

Yes totally shocked at your minimalist approach to supplies! You certainly make the most with what you do have and I'm in love with your CAS style. This is a good lesson to all - you really don't need to spend a whole lot to make beautiful things!

Really nice management on your desk! Love that clear structure... Where do you store your stamps? Is it in a dvd case?
