Christmas in our household is a little bit more subdued than usual this year (although try telling that to the children lol).  My brother is going through a tough time, which of course affects us all, but as they say....time heals.

I am absolutely delighted that last months Guest Designer Maureen at Buttons & Bling has agreed to join us as a permanent DT member....what a fabulous asset she is!

I am also incredibly excited that the super talented Ted at Happily Ever Crafter (who is also a valued friend) will be Guest Designing for us this release!  I am a huge admirer of Ted's work & cannot wait to see what he comes up with :)

All Is Calm

It's anything but calm in our household, the children are so excited about Christmas that they're a lot more hyper than usual - it's quite infectious though :)

I'm sure I'm not the only mother (parent) who lingered that little bit longer than usual when giving their children a kiss & (tight) cuddle at bedtime last night, my thoughts & prayers are with the families affected by the tragic events in Connecticut.

Last Minute Christmas Cards

Our tree's are all up but I still haven't purchased a single present - I have a date in the diary to spend a whole day at Bluewater shopping centre next week which should rectify that!  

Dean is now back at work & surprisingly, I didn't find the adjustment too traumatic lol  He's off for 2 weeks over Christmas which is fantastic because the children are now on their school break :)

Anyway, that's enough blah blah from me (lol) - hope all your holiday preparations are going to plan....only 11 more sleeps :) xxx

A Wonderful Holiday

After suffering the slowest internet connection possible for the past (painful) month, the BT technician has been today to install Fiber Optic broadband (don't ask, I have no idea lol) so I can now finally share a card....
